Update: Police tracked the kids to a bus bound for Los Angeles.

Authorities are on the lookout for two youths who went missing from an field trip to Six Flags in Vallejo on Tuesday.

Morgan McCulley, 13, and Max Serafini, 14, were traveling on an 8th grade field trip to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo. At 4 p.m. trip organizers noticed the youths were missing.

Relatives believe that the students may have ran off on their own accord, possibly to San Francisco.

Margaret Hill-Serafini told the Press Democrat that police tracked the pair to a BART station in San Francisco Wednesday.

“It’s just tough. We’re really tearing our hearts out over this, trying to figure out how to get them home,” Hill-Serafini told the P-D.

Parents of the missing kids have made up a flier, at right. Max Serafini was last seen wearing a black, zip-up hoodie, white t-shirt, yellow shorts, and black shoes with black socks. Morgan McCulley is last seen wearing a turquoise shirt and blue jeans.
