Structure may have been a horse training facility or stable, firefighters say.

By Bay City News Service

Firefighters responded to a two-alarm structure fire in Sonoma County Tuesday evening, fire officials said.

At about 8:02 p.m., Sonoma County fire officials received a call reporting a fire at 2276 Crane Canyon Road, located southeast of Santa Rosa, in unincorporated Sonoma County.

Five people evacuated from the building prior to the firefighters arrival and no injuries were reported, fire officials said.

The building may have been a horse training facility or stable. The address matches that of Fairwind Farm, an 87-acre dressage facility tucked off of Petaluma Hill Road.

The fire was under control by 9:52 p.m. and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
