Bennett Valley Road Near Sonoma Mountain Road Will Be Closed Until 1 p.m.
A tree is blocking the road completely. Motorists should use Highway 12.

A tree that was knocked down during a vehicle accident is blocking Bennett Valley Road near Sonoma Mountain Road north of Glen Elllen this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The road is closed from Sonoma Mountain Road to one mile east of Sonoma Mountain Road, CHP officials said. The closure is expected to be in effect until at least 1 p.m.
The tree is blocking the entire roadway, and motorists are advised to use state Highway 12 as an alternate route.
