Lane Closed On U.S. Highway 101 After Multi-Vehicle Crash

Southbound lane south of Highway 116 closed pending cleanup.

At least one lane is closed on southbound U.S. Highway 101 just south of state Highway 116 in Sonoma County this morning following two separate crashes that involved seven vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP said one collision involved five cars around 7:45 a.m. The far left lane was closed at 8 a.m.

A chemical spill from a pest control truck also was reported in the second lane from the left, the CHP said.

A Sig-alert was issued, and there was no estimate on when all lanes were expected to reopen, according to the CHP.
