Motorcylist in Critical Condition Following Crash

Sean Quackenbush obtained serious injuries after his cycle flipped over a road median.

A Sonoma man is still in critical condition following a Thursday night collision where his motorcycle flipped over a roadway divider.

Sean Quackenbush, 33, was riding a motorcycle west on West Napa Street, just after midnight on Thursday, when he short-shot a right turn onto Highway 12, hitting the roadway's median which flipped his bike, and sent it flying into the oncoming lane.

Witnesses told police that Quackenbush was speeding as he made the turn. Police have not determined weather he was drinking prior to the accident.

According to police, Quackenbush received a collapsed lung, broken vertebrae, and many broken bones from the crash.

Quackenbush was flown by helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he was still in critical condition as of Saturday morning.
