The National Weather Service on Sunday issued a flood advisory for Sonoma County.

Severe weather conditions, sustained rain and high tides could bring flooding to low-lying areas, according to the weather service.

The Highway Patrol is keeping a watch on the intersection of Highway 121 and Highway 12 in Schellville, south of Sonoma, where flooding caused closure for part of Saturday.

One man died on Highway 121 on Saturday, when his vehicle spun out of control on a curve.

In Petaluma, areas off Industrial Avenue and Auto Row could be prone to flooding, officials said.
