Red Flag Warning In Effect Until 10AM Sunday Morning

Dry winds gusting as high as 30 mph were seen above 1000 feet in the North and East Bay Saturday afternoon.

The National Weather Service says a red flag warning will continue Sunday for the North Bay and East Bay hills as strong winds and dry conditions create the potential for dangerous fires.

The red flag warning remains in effect until 10 a.m. Sunday, weather service officials said.

Dry winds gusting as high as 30 mph were seen above 1000 feet in the North and East Bay Saturday afternoon and were expected to increase throughout the night and into Sunday, officials said.

Humidity levels were around 20 to 30 percent Saturday afternoon and were expected to drop to the 15 to 20 percent range by late in the day.

Dry conditions will continue throughout the day, officials said.
