Arrest Made in Grocery Store Indecent Exposure Cases in Sonoma

Richard "Rick" Hudson has been booked into Sonoma County Jail.

Sonoma Police made an arrest Monday night in the series of indecent-exposure cases at local supermarkets in the past month.

Richard "Rick" Hudson, age 59, was taken into custody at 7:45 p.m. at his Sonoma home, according to a news release.

Victims reported the suspect exposed himself to them at Sonoma Safeway and at Sonoma Market on Sept. 28. An additional case was uncovered during the investigation that took place at the Sonoma CVS on Sept. 15, according to Sgt. Dave Thompson.

Hudson's arrest came after further information was developed from Sonoma grocery stores and tipster information. A new surveillance photo was posted in local news outlets and on the Sheriff's website.

Hudson was booked at the Sonoma County jail on one count of annoying/molesting a person under 18 years old and three counts of indecent exposure.

This investigation is ongoing. If you have further information about this case, please contact Sonoma Police Department, 707-565-2650
