Friday, June 17

Attempted Burglary: The owner of two vacation homes on the 200 block of First Street West reported that the locks of both buildings had been tampered with and the doorknobs removed. Nothing inside either house was taken.

DUI: At 10:43 p.m. a patrolling officer pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 12 and East Thompson Ave. The officer said that the driver, Thomas Rolf, a 54-year-old Agua Caliente resident, appeared intoxicated, with bloodshot eyes. After failing sobriety tests, a breath test marked Rolf's blood alcohol ratio at .09. He was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol, and released to a sober friend. 

Watch Your Tired: A 49-year-old Agua Caliente resident was stopped by a patrolling officer after he ran his blue Mercury Cougar over the curb of the sidewalk outside __.  The man appeared intoxicated and lethargic; a blood test revealed he was under copious amounts of medication. His medication was cleared by Sutter Health and he was released.

Petty Theft: Between June 12 and 13, someone broke into a back building of __, making off with a four-gallon Emgrow air compressor, worth $300. A window screen and pane of glass were removed from the back shed; but neither were damaged. 

Found Property: A city worker turned in a blue Panasonic Sport 21-speed road bike. The bike did not have a serial number, and had not been reported missing. 

Saturday, June 18

Petty Theft: Someone _stole a men's_ 21-speed dark grey mountain bike from an open garage at a home on the 600 block of Joaquin Dr. The bike is worth about $300 and has a bookrack on the back.

Fighting in Public: A Boyes Hot Springs man was thrown out of after he threw a drink on another customer, who was out with his ex-girlfriend. When the bouncer approached him, the man, 27, got into a fight with him, which was broken up by police when they saw the commotion.

Sunday, June 19

Public Intoxication:  At 1:12 a.m. Police arrested a 22-year-old Santa Rosa man at Steiners, who was trying to sneak into the bar after being asked to leave, because he didn't have an ID.

Monday, June 20

DUI: Just after 1 a.m., Police stopped a Sonoma man weaving in and out of traffic at the intersection of Highway 12 and Waterman Ave. The man, Francisco Petch-Cabrera, 42, failed sobriety tests, and told police he'd recently drank four beers at the __. An official breath test registered his blood alcohol level at .16 and .15. He was cited and released to a sober adult.

DUI:

A patrolling officer noticed a man in a silver Toyota truck driving 30 mph in a 20 mph zone, and pulled him over on Highway 12 near West Spain Street. But instead of pulling over, the driver Dominick Bolton, a 38-year-old Petaluma man, stopped in the middle of traffic. Though the driver appeared intoxicated, he told the officer that he'd only had four-beers to drink and "didn't feel the effects of alcohol." A breath test placed his blood alcohol ratio at .235 and .247; he was charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and booked into county jail. 

Wednesday, June 22

Trespassing: A child noticed a pair of legs sticking out of the side of her father's Tundra pickup truck. Assuming her dad was in the car, she investigated, and instead found a stranger, who took off upon seeing the girl. The man is described as in his 50s, with shaggy grey hair and was wearing a yellow button down with shorts and sneakers. Nothing was damaged or taken from the car. 

Thursday, June 23

Probation Violation: Police pulled over Peter Scott, 41, a Boyes Hot Springs resident, who was cycling at 12:12 a.m. on the 19,000 block of Highway 12 without bicycle lights on. Scott, who is on probation with a non-drinking clause, told officers that he'd drunk one and a half beers; a breath test placed his blood alcohol rate at .109. Scott was charged with one count of violating probation.
