Friday, Dec. 2

Theft: Someone stole a MacBook Pro laptop, in a black canvas CalServs tote bag, from an unlocked car parked on the 100 block of West Spain Street, between 9:10 and 9:30 p.m., while the owner was helping a friend unload some stuff. The computer is valued at $1,500.

Petty Theft: Someone stole the rear license plate off a 2001 Toyota Tundra, parked in the parking lot.

Suspicious Person: At 6 a.m., a resident of the , at 1001 Fifth Street West, told the park manger of a suspicious person lingering by the pool. The site manager investigated and found a man, mumbling and acting erratically. The man lunged, punched the site manager and then fled. He is described as a 5’10 Hispanic male, wearing denim shorts, with no shirt or shoes. Nothing was stolen from the mobile home park.

Saturday, Dec. 3

Burglary: Someone broke into a utility room at the , between closing time on Dec. 2 and 12:26 p.m on Dec. 3, making off with $700 in cash, an empty soap bucket and an estimated $500 worth of assorted, unmarked, tools.

Sunday, Dec. 4

Obstruction, Possession of a Controlled Substance: Around 11:15 p.m. a woman left Blue Moon Saloon, and pulled her black 2011 Chevy Equinox into a white BMW sedan in the parking lot. Police responded and found the driver, Yadira Bojorquez, a 23-year-old Boyes Hot Springs resident sitting on a bench, appearing intoxicated. Inside her car, police found a small amount of methamphetamines. Police transported Bojorquez to for a blood test, where she unleashed a slew of profanities on hospital staff, asked to use the bathroom and then urinated on the floor. When an officer attempted to handcuff her, she twisted her body, tucking her free arm against the officer’s chest. A breath test measured her blood alcohol rate at 1.49. She was charged with obstruction, possession of a controlled substance, and driving under the influence of alcohol and was booked into Sonoma County Jail.

Underage: A 17-year-old boy tried to buy cigarettes from , handing his California ID to a cashier for identification. The worker kept the id, and reported the incident to the police.

Unintended Escort: A 52-year-old Sonoma woman reported that she is receiving harassing phone calls after someone posted her name and phone number on Craigslist as an escort service. She told police that she suspects a person who she has had prior disagreements with. Officers suggested she contact Craigslist and have the ad removed.

Monday, Dec. 5

Theft: A Sonoma resident discovered that $506 was withdrawn, using her debit card, from the San Jose branch of Citi Bank. She is unsure weather she is part of the Lucky Supermarket scam, and gave police a list of transactions over the last few months.

Breaking and Entering: Someone forced entry into the between 11 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 6 a.m. on Dec. 5, using a hand-tool to grind open an old safe, only to find it empty. The thief left with nothing.

Burglary: A resident of the 400 block of Montini way reported that her HP Laptop, valued at $1,500, and $250 in cash were stolen from the bedroom of her home. There were no signs of forced entry.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

Vandalism: At 11:57 a.m., police caught a 17-year-old writing in the newly laid concrete on the 100 block of West Macarthur Street, causing an estimated $100 of damage.

Thursday, Dec. 8

DUI: A deputy spotted a man speeding in a black 2009 Honda Civic, near Chevron, and pulled him over on West Napa Street, at Fifth Street West. The man, Zane Pritchett, a 31-year-old Santa Rosa man, told the officer that he’d been drinking at the Town Square, where he’d had a beer and some of his friend’s mixed drink. He registered a .13 and a .12 on a breath test taken in the station. He was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol.
