Friday, July 15

Stolen Car: A white 1997 BMW 328i, valued at $4,000, was stolen from in front of , 275 East Spain St., between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. while its owner was in a meeting. Police recovered no broken glass or other signs of forced entry at the scene.

Saturday, July 16

Posession: Responding to noise complaints just before 1 a.m., deputies found a group drinking Coors Light and doing lines of cocaine on a picnic table in the breezeway next to the . Cydney Martin, a 31 and Darla Graham, 30, both of Sonoma, and charged with a felony count of possession of cocaine. Graham had a bag in her wallet with .05 grams of cocaine.

Shoplifting: A security guard caught two females, 18 and 17, shoplifting more than $150 worth of natural food items. Both were cited for shoplifting and released.

Monday, July 18

Lassie Go Home: On Friday, July 15, a bystander turned in a runaway Huskey to the police station. The dog, from a home in the 500 block of El Verano, was well known to officers who’d retrieved the dog on several other occasions. The owner retrieved the dog, which then made his way back to the police station twice- first on Saturday, July 16, then on Monday, July 18. The dog’s 25-year-old owner was asked to repair a hole in his fence and charged two $30 kennel boarding fees.

Tuesday, July 19

Shoplifting: At 4pm, deputies responded to reports from a security guard at Lucky's that a man, wearing dark jeans and a dark jacket, had grabbed a half-gallon bottle of Jack Daniels, valued at $37.78, put it in his backpack and bounded out of the store. At the Maxwell Park Skate Park, the officers spotted a 17-year-old boy with a bottle of Jack Daniels, who fit the description. The boy told police that he’d bought the whiskey from Ian Schrum, 18, of Sonoma, who stole it from the market. Schrum was arrested and charged with one felony count of burglary.

Wednesday, July 20

Stolen Bike: A grey Canondale F600 bike, valued at $1,125, was stolen from the 500 block of Curtin Lane.

Thursday, July 21

Drunk in Public: Just before 2am a deputy spotted a man stumbling down West Napa street, holding a red and white lunch cooler. The officer followed and spotted the man again, standing in front of Robbins with his pants at his knees, a pile of feces at his feet, eating a sandwich.  The man, 39, told the officer he’d had “just a few beers,” and “had to go real bad.” He was arrested and booked in county jail, charged with one count of public intoxication.
