Sonoma Valley High Students Safe After Bathroom Fire

Staff believe vandals set bathroom stall ablaze

students were evacuated after a fire broke out in a men's bathroom stall, just before 1pm Thursday. 

Smoke poured from a bathroom in the school's H-Building, after a toilet paper roll and dispenser was set on fire.

Staff and students were evacuated from the building as smoke began to escape from the bathroom's doorway.

No structural damage was suffered and no injuries were reported, according to Sonoma Fire Department Fire Marshall Alan Jones.

Fire officials did not have leads on who caused the fire, though they believe it was set in an act of vandalism.
