Two Boys Injured When Hit By Car Near Sonoma

The two boys suffered minor injuries.

Two boys ages 4 and 7 suffered minor injuries when they were struck by a vehicle near Sonoma this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The boys were hit around 10:50 a.m. when they crossed the street in front of a Chevrolet HHR at 1844 Sierra Drive near Sierra Place in unincorporated Sonoma County north of Sonoma, CHP Officer Jake Ramos said.

They were taken by ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Ramos said.

The CHP's Napa office responded to the incident.
