1st District Supervisor Candidate Forums Continue Tonight

Three upcoming forums give the public a chance to hear candidate views

Below is a list of the upcoming Candidate Forums being held prior to the 2012 Sonoma County Supervisor Elections. The one to be held tonight in Santa Rosa, sponsored by the Bennett Valley Community Association, has already posted a list of ten questions for the candidates.

Upcoming Candidate forums

First District:

Find out what's happening in Sonoma Valleywith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • April 19 Thurs. 7 p.m., Bennett Valley Grange. Sponsored by the Bennett Valley Community Association.
  • April 26 Thurs. 7:30 p.m., Sonoma Community Center. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters.
  • May 2 Wed. 7 p.m., Berger Center on Oakmont Dr. Sponsored by the Oakmont Democratic Club.

Candidates for the 1st district include , , Susan Gorin, ,  and John Sawyer. ( has dropped from the race.) The district includes the city of Sonoma and the Sonoma Valley, as well as parts of Santa Rosa. Both Gorin and Sawyer are members of the Santa Rosa City Council.
