Join the community for a memorable and thoughtful day commemorating 9/11 beginning at 6:30 a.m.with the names of the fallen firefighters read at Fire Station 1. Activities in Sonoma Plaza continue with the reading of the names of the victims, as well as various tributes including a benediction and city proclamation. At noon, the Sonoma Community Center and volunteers of the Ox Roast will serve ox and sausage sandwiches, chips, beer, wine and soda for sale followed by performances from the Sonoma Valley Chorale, VOM Chamber Ensemble, Sonoma Home Town Band, Hot Flashes, Tommy Thomsen and Friends and more.
