City Council To Discuss Swimming Pool Project, Bonds and Living Wage

The meeting moves to 6 p.m. Wednesday due to the Labor Day holiday Monday.

Next week's City Council meeting will move to Wednesday due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday. The session will include special and regular meetings of the Sonoma City Council, as well as a concurrent regular meeting of the council as the successor agency to the dissolved Sonoma Community Development Agency.

The special meeting is a closed session to discuss labor and real property negotiations and employee performance evaluations.

Among items on the regular agenda are discussion and possible action on authorizing the issuing of bonds to refund certain pension obligations and the refinancing of bonds for water system improvements.

The Mayor has requested a review and overview of the city's Living Wage Ordinance.

The council also will receive and discuss a report by Sonoma Valley Health & Recreation Association about the Community Swimming Pool Project.
