New Year's Eve Will Be Clear and Chilly

Dress for a frosty night out.

Forecasters no longer predict any rain for New Year's Eve, so the coast is clear for a dry night out, though you'll need to dress for a frost.

Sonoma area can expect a chilly 27 degrees after 10 p.m., following a sunny day in the low 50s, according to the National Weather Service. The frost may last until about 10 a.m. on New Year's Day, then expect a sunny day, with a high near 53.

The rain may hold off until Wednesday night or Thursday.
