Step Forward: Are You a Last-Minute Tax Filer?

Four Bay Area post offices have late hours tonight, including one in Petaluma.

The clock is ticking - have you filed your taxes yet?

If you didn't spend this weekend with your nose in your tax statements, you've got until midnight tonight to get them in.

Though it's now possible to file your taxes online, a lot of people still prefer the old paper and pencil system for filing your tax returns.

Though neither of the Sonoma-area post offices offer extended hours today, if you're running super behind, the Petaluma post office, at 1150 N. McDowell Blvd.,
will offer the curbside service until 10 p.m.

Three other post offices have extended hours, including the Redwood City Main Post Office (open until 7 p.m.), and the post office near San Francisco International Airport, at 660 West Field Road (open until midnight, jackpot.)
