Rain Through Sunday in Sonoma, Gusty Winds Until Thursday Night

Prepare for possible flooding by getting sandbags at City Hall. Sand is available at Depot Park.

Rain is expected to last into Sunday in the Sonoma area, tapering off into a slight chance of showers through Monday. The precipitation is expected to be accompanied by wind gusts up to 32 mph, off and on through Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Sandbags are available at City Hall and Friedman's. Sand is available at Depot Park on First Street West. Instructions for how to fill and place the bags are available at City Hall and attached to this article. For information regarding shovels, click here to read a previous Patch article.
