The Preserving Sonoma Committee announces a Ride Share Service to the Polls for those who need transportation on the special Election Day of November 19.
This service is open to any voter needing a ride; no politicking or campaigning will be permitted by our drivers and discussion about Measure B among passengers will be discouraged. This is simply a transportation service being put in place because of the unusual date of the election and some confusion as to polling places.
To request and schedule a ride, those needing transportation should call 996-9498 and leave a message with name, phone number, address, and time of day requested. Our Ride Share coordinator will confirm the arrangements.
These requests should be made before the 19th of November, as we cannot guarantee that all requests can be honored if they are not scheduled in advance.
There is no fee for this service; it is simply neighbors helping neighbors.
