Readers' Choice: Nominate Best Place to Get a Gift

We want to know which businesses should be in the running for this Readers' Choice category.

You know the time — scrambling to find a gift at the last minute — for a wedding, a friend's birthday or a graduation.

Wouldn't it be so great and helpful if we knew one of those local gems to stop in at and find a gift no matter the occasion? We want to know where in Sonoma you go for the best gifts. Tell us your favorite spots in the comments section below, and we'll put them into a poll for everyone to vote on.

We'll accept nominations from Monday, June 18, to July 9. Then, on July 23, the voting begins through August 17. We will announce the winner in this category and the others on August 24. Visit our topic page for all the Readers' Choice information.

We LOVE Baksheesh and the Sonoma Silver Company (which offers a locals discount) - both are close to each other on the plaza.

Tiddle E. Winks 115 East Napa Street Sonoma, CA 95476 (707) 939-6933 You will always find something you love or just have to have here. From penny candy to jewelry and home decor items...not to mention, every retro candy bar or goodie from your childhood, it's all here. Can't figure out a gift--just ask Heidi, the owner, to help you. You'll leave with the perfect present, beautifully put together!

Sonoma Silver fits the bill for most gifts, but also love Baksheesh and Tiddle E. Winks!

J. James is new -- and wonderful! I love the decor and the style and a good selection of price points. Perfect place to find a gift or to treat yourself.
