Pasta Lovers! This One's for You—Help Adele Harrison's 6th Grade Class

The school will serve up salad and pasta on Nov. 9 to raise money for their Outdoor Education class.

Many of us remember the good times we had as students whenever we were able to get out of the classroom into the great outdoors.

Students in Adele Harrison's 6th Grade Outdoor Education class are looking forward to the possibilities of a few nights away in a cabin, some hikes in the dark and some challenge course activities.

The goal this year is a trip to Alliance Redwoods in Occidental in April.

You can help—and eat pasta at the same time. It's a win-win.

On Nov. 9, dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. in Adele Harrison Middle School's gym, 1150 Broadway, Sonoma.

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the school office. There is no charge for children under age 5.

Mary's Pizza will provide the pasta, which will be accompanied by salad and bread.

A bake sale will offer homemade treats for $1 each.

The Outdoor Education program has been in existence for three years. The leader, Liz Bauer, says it helps students learn about science and develop team building skills. This will be the school's second annual "pasta feed."
