Weiland certainly fits the bill. A three-year resident at Hanna, Weiland has spent his high school career giving back to a personal cause. As a 14-year-old Weiland lived on the streets of San Bruno, before arriving at Hanna in 2009. Since then, he's created a food and clothing drive that's sent hundreds of pounds of food to the homeless shelter that often fed him in San Bruno, and the Sonoma Overnight Support (SOS) shelter.

Over the years Weiland has collected over 5,000 pounds of clothing and 8,000 pounds of food items for his causes. He was also named a 'student of the year' by the Sonoma Valley Unified School District.
