Where in Sonoma can you find Girl Scout cookies this season? The Girl Scouts of Northern California are making it easier than ever to lay your hands on those seasonal sweet treats, wherever you happen to be. 

Sonoma Valley Scouts are manning booths and local businesses, including , and . Check out the full schedule, at right.

Or you can always get tech-y with it. Through March 18, you can use the Online Cookie Locator to zero in on your neighborhood cookie booth: Just type in your ZIP code at http://cookielocator.littlebrownie.com/

There's even a free app for your smartphone.

Former Girl Scouts: mark your calendars. The Girl Scouts in Sonoma Valley will be celebrating their 100th anniversary at a special gathering in the Sonoma Plaza on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 6:30-7:30pm.  The community is invited to join us in the amphitheater as the younger Girl Scouts call for all Girl Scout Alumni to come celebrate with them.

I bought a case of thin mints...I know it is alot but I love those cookies and the proceeds go to such a good cause. Try the cookie locator if you haven't bought any yet.

All I can think of is this is one of the few win win situations out there. The cookies are delicious. You support the Girl Scouts.
