The I Bike Sonoma County Century is only 10 days away! Register now!

Don’t miss your chance to sign up for the ride of your life! Registration closes on June 15th for the “I Bike Sonoma County Century,” a fabulous bicycle adventure presented by Whole Foods Market, to benefit Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition. What’s special about this ride? Food, for starters! Whole Foods Market will provide you with healthy and delicious rest stop snacks at all five of its Sonoma County locations, and will feed you lunch during the post-ride festival at its Coddingtown store. The festival will feature fantastic vendors and beer by Lagunitas Brewing. Tell your friends and family to meet you there for the finish! The ride is also special! With a century (100 mile) route that begins in Santa Rosa, heads east to Sonoma, curves back through Petaluma to head out to Tomales before it passes through Sebastopol on the return, you’ll enjoy an array of beautiful natural scenery, and you’ll also see some of Sonoma County’s cute towns and cities. Not up for 100 miles? You’re not alone, and we’ve got you covered: you may also choose to ride 65 miles (the most popular route so far), 35 miles, or bring the whole family for the 18-mile route. Anyone who is able to ride any kind of bicycle is can join the fun! You’ll have a blast no matter what, and you’ll be supporting Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition in the process. “We’ve been working hard to provide an awesome experience for all our riders,” says Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition Executive Director, Gary Helfrich. “We know people ride to enjoy themselves, but since this ride supports our work to make our community a safer, more accessible place to ride, your participation really makes a difference to Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition.” Want to go the extra mile? Register as a fundraiser Superhero and your participation will do more to help make Sonoma County the best place to ride a bike. It’s not too late to sign up as a Superhero and raise the $250 minimum. All Superheroes receive a “I Bike Sonoma County Century” t-shirt; the top 11 fundraisers get a Traffic Master jersey from sponsor Elevengear; the top fundraiser earns a new Novara road bike from REI! How’s that for motivation? To register, visit www.ibikesonoma.org today! Form a team to get your friends and family motivated to join you. The more, the merrier! Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition thanks the following generous sponsors of the I Bike Sonoma County Century: Whole Foods Market, Rabobank, J&D Service Company, Santa Rosa Cycling Club, ShiKai, Sutter Health, Vega, REI, Sebastopol Downtown Association, Green Banners, Codding, Coddingtown Mall, Kaiser Permanente, GHD, Hussmann, Lagunitas, Elevengear, Wine County Cyclery, Trek Store of Santa Rosa, NorCal Bikesport, Bike Partners, Bici Sport, and West County Cycle Service.
