I'm not a baseball fan - for me, the games are too long and boring most of the time. But the Little League World Series with the Petaluma National team? That was baseball I could truly embrace! Six innings, fresh faced players with outstanding baseball talent, skills, and sportsmanship, along with confidence and determination moved me to fit every game into my busy schedule to watch heart stopping entertainment. What a refreshing gift they gave us all. Thanks to the players, coaches, parents and all who supported this team in their reach for the sky. Well done.

And you, Michael, have no sense of pride for our county or the boys who played so hard to get where they got. Poor, poor, pitiful you. And as a Republican, you should be cheering for the boys of summer and our national pastime...baseball.

A.A.: City Council, foreclosures, and the homeless will no doubt still be around for all of us to discuss now that the LLWS has come to an end. Petaluma is so good at coming together in times of tragedy. I for one think it is a blessing to have an event that is nothing but PURE JOY for our community to rally around - if just for a couple of weeks. We need the light hearted and joyful things to celebrate, so that we have the energy to deal with the serious matters that we face. Thank you PNLL!

Now would be the time to remove the foot from your mouth and make an intelligent comment. Not the brightest bulb in the box.
