Parade Planned for Petaluma Little League Team

Residents can celebrate their World Series games on Sept. 2 at 1 p.m.

With Petaluma National going strong at the Little League World Series, Petaluma is getting ready to celebrate with a parade scheduled for Sept. 2.

The parade will kick off at 1 p.m. at Walnut Park, wind down Kentucky Street then turn right on East Washington and return via Petaluma Boulevard.

The Nationals have won three of their four games at the World Series and play again Thursday at 5pm. The tournament ends Aug. 26.

If you want to catch Thursday's game, head down to Boulevard Cinemas in Theater Square for a pre-game party where you can pick up a Petaluma National hat, T-shirt or one-of-a kind rally towel.

There will also be a raffle with all proceeds going to the Uganda Little League team who Petaluma players have befriended during their stay in Williamsport, Pa.
