Summer Reading Program Launches Next Week at Sonoma Library

Dream Big - Read, is the theme for this year's summer programming

 

free summer reading program kicks off next week with the theme, “Dream Big -- Read.”

The 2012 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prizes, storytimes and more.

Registration for the Summer Reading Program begins on Tuesday, June 5. Sign-up at the library. Families are invited to join us for these events:

  • June 8 - The Magic of Timothy James
  • June 13 - Andy Strain, the Trombonist
  • June 20 - DRUMM (Make noise in the library, a dream come true!)
  • June 27 - Jamie Coventry: Circus, Music & Laughs!
  • July 11 - Puppet Art: Tommy's Space Adventure
  • July 18 - Summer Reading FINALE! with Dream Big-Crafts!

Teen Events (ages 12 - 19)

  • June 13 - Caligraphy Workshop
  • June 27 - Duct Tape Mania (Craft workshop, supplies provided)
  • July 11 - Henna Art for Teens
  • July 18 - Jewelry Workshop
