Pets Lifeline is a not-for-profit animal shelter housing and fostering dogs and cats. It is the only designated…More animal shelter in the Sonoma Valley. The shelter has capacity for up to 60 cats and 12 dogs, with additional space for placing animals in remote foster-homes.  All animals available for adoption are vacinated, spayed or neutered, and equiped with a locating microchip.</p> <p>In addition to its sheltering and adoption services, PetsLine offers dog training classes, community education and outreach events, and an annual "critter carnival."</p>

This is the "puppy" store of the original Barking Dog Roasters, and is in walking distance to Sonoma's main…More square. It is a friendly and open café that offers fresh roasted coffee directly from the flagship location and which also bakes many of its own pastries and other items. A wide assortment of coffees, teas, chais, mocchas and frappés are all available, along with a kids' menu, sodas, juices and energy drinks.</p> <p>The walls feature the work of local artists and the front bay window shelf holds flyers and notices for other businesses and events around town. In addition, anyone can reserve the "meeting table" in the back for larger gatherings (24-48 hours notice required). Barking Dog Roasters also offers free Wi-Fi for customers and a free beverage on your birthday (with ID).</p>
