Originally opened in 1975 by Gene Fish, the Granary Feed & Pet Supply changed hands several times before Paul GrantMore purchased the business in November 2007. The Granary is a one-stop shop for animal essentials. In fact, Grant says, the Granary stocks food for everything from "lizards to camels." Delivery is available for hay, livestock feed and bedding. Grant grew up in Sonoma and lives with his wife and their dog, cats, pheasants and chickens. He is the Governor of the local Moose Lodge and president of the Valley of the Moon-Sons of Italy.
Schellville Grill

Owner and chef of Schellville Grill, Matthew Nagan, calls his cuisine CalItal. The American/Italian eatery is a favoriteMore dining hall among local wine growers. He travels to Italy often and imparts his wordly knowledge to the Sonoma table. The pasta is hand-rolled fresh, with the lasagna being among the favorites on the menu. There is a homey feel about the place, carried out into a courtyard of outside seating. Schellville Grill was recently featured on the Food Network's Diners Drive ins & Dives. Live music plays on Saturdays.

Owner Grazia Bianchi and her son-in-law, headMore baker Massimo "Max" Fiorini, endeavor to bring the "grandest, most truly Italian" bakery and cafe experience possible, and hope to educate customers on the authentic flavors of Luccan baked goods. The shop boasts a large front window and mirrored side walls tastefully adorned with shelves of breads, Italian wines, Tuscan dishes and Venetian vases. Exotic and enticing cookies include brutti ma buoni, ricciarelli, amaretti, spumoni, three kinds of biscotti, and many more. Specialties include St. Honore and wedding cakes. Along with desserts the cafe offers daily special plates, pizzetes, salads, panini and sandwiches.
