In Sonoma…More there are 6 historic parks: The Mission San Francisco Solano, the Sonoma Barracks, the Servents Quarters (behind the Barracks), the Blue Wing Inn, the Toscano Hotel and the Vallejo Home. The Vallejo Home is located a little under a mile to the west, on West Spain street, the rest of the sites are gathered around the Plaza. </p> <p>The site manages a tourist office, gift shops (in the Mission and Baracks) and leads tours. The sites are a history-lesson mainstay in both regional and local school programs; they host school tours 4 days a week, and run an enviornmental studies program, and a historic crafts program for 4th graders. The site runs a popular volunteer program, that provides docent led tours, a garden group, maitenence for the parks, and a community bike patrol to support the rangers. The Parks team is currently developing an "Interprative Plan" to direct the historic renovations of the sites.</p>
