Sonoma Valley Boasts Nationally-Ranked Realtor Casabonne

To be listed in the Top Thousand of anything may not sound like that big a deal, but when it’s a list of top producing Realtors in the country – not just California or the west, but the whole U.S. of A. – it’s a pretty good ranking.

So welcome Daniel Casabonne, of Frank Howard Allen’s First St. East office in Sonoma, this week named one of America’s top real estate professionals by REAL Trends and the Wall Street Journal. He is now a member of the “Top Thousand Real Estate Professionals,” a prestigious national awards ranking sponsored annually by the two respected publications.

Casabonne ranks pretty high, even among such elite company: he had $67,000,000 in dollar volume, ranking him 147th in the nation.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be named to the Top Thousand,” said Casabonne, 44, who has been selling real estate in the Sonoma Valley since 1997. “Even with the market’s challenges, it’s incredibly gratifying to help others achieve their real estate goals.”

Casabonne is now ranked in the top one half of 1 percent of almost a million Realtors (more than 963,000) nationwide. The “Top Thousand” honors the top 1,000 residential agents and agent teams in the following four categories:

Casabonne graduated from Saint Mary's College in Moraga with a double major in Business Finance & Economics, and worked in Paris at the headquarters of a French bank, La Caisse d'Epargne. Before to becoming a Realtor, he worked at the Sonoma Community Center.

“We are extremely proud of Daniel,” said Noreen Smith, President/COO of Frank Howard Allen Realtors. “He has been a top producer since 2002, and since then has sold the most homes in Sonoma Valley. Daniel works with all price levels and is an extremely dedicated and driven individual. It is no surprise to us that he ranks among the top real estate agents nationwide.”

“Daniel ranks in an elite group of individual agents and teams from markets across the country. This is quite an achievement; Daniel should be quite proud of his sales successes,” said Marti Gallardo, Vice President of Vertical Markets, advertising sales, for the Wall Street Journal.

“I love working all segments of the market and meeting all kinds of interesting people looking to move to Sonoma Valley,” Casabonne told Patch.  “Every day is a new adventure with a new cast of characters.  There is always a new twist or turn in this business which keeps it exciting.  I am lucky enough to say that I have a job that I love.”
