Jam 101
In this 4-hour class, Rachel Saunders,owner and Chef of Blue Chair Fruit takes youthrough the jam making process from start tofinish. The class starts with an hour-long jamtesting and discussion, then proceeds to thecooking process. Key topics will be examinedsuch as the role of sugar, the importance oflemon juice and how to add it and the stagesof cooking. Four different jams, includingtwo multiple-fruit jams will be demonstratedand you will receive four mini jars of seasonalfruit jam to take home.
